  • Ben Wilson, D.V.M.

    Practice owner Dr. Ben Wilson joined the Monterey Animal Hospital team in 1999, two years after completing his degree in veterinary medicine at UC Davis.  There, he met his wife, Dr. Shannon Thomas, owner of the local Avian and Exotic Clinic located in the Stone Creek Village Shopping Center in Del Rey Oaks.  They reside in Watsonville with their twin sons Thomas and Reed, along with their two Golden Retrievers (Cody and Butter), two cats (Alex and Jerry), two horses (Faux and Mr. Sandman), donkey (Milton Burro) and several reptiles and birds.

  • Crystal Chung, D.V.M.

    Dr. Crystal Chung studied Biochemistry as an undergraduate at UC Davis and graduated with her degree in veterinary medicine from the same institution.  She joined Monterey Animal Hospital immediately after graduation. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she now lives on the Monterey Peninsula with Sherman, an inquisitive and loving feline.

    Lannis Enriques, D.V.M.

    Dr. Lannis Enriques earned her veterinary degree from Colorado State University.  She then completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Sacramento Animal Medical Group. She has been practicing in the Monterey Bay Area since 2006.  She joined Monterey Animal Hospital in 2018.  Born and raised in Hawaii, she now enjoys exploring the California outdoors with her husband and three kids.  She also shares her home with two rambunctious cats (Hook and T) and two mischievous dogs (Clover and Moose).

    Margaret Finley, DVM, PhD

    Growing up on an organic dairy farm in south west Scotland, Dr Margaret Finlay has had a love of all animals from a very young age.
    She graduated first in her class from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 2007 and went on to complete her PhD there in veterinary pathology. She moved with her husband to Los Angeles from Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2015 and from there moved to the beautiful Monterey Bay
    area in 2017.  She began practicing at Monterey Animal Hospital in 2020.
    She understands the depth and strength of the human-animal bond and strives to honor that most special of connections each and every day.

    Thomasina was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula. She began working at Monterey Animal Hospital while in high school. She has been with our practice over 19 years. She and her husband live with Penny, a pug mix and Orko, a cat with the soul of a canine.
