Canine Influenza

Attention: Canine influenza has hit the West Coast within the past weeks.  There have been reported cases in the Bay Area.

Canine influenza is a serious upper respiratory viral infection, and we recommend vaccination for all dogs.  If your dog has never been vaccinated before, we will administer the first dose, provide a booster vaccine in 2 to 4 weeks, and then vaccinate yearly.

Influenza can cause coughing, sneezing, discharge from the nose and eyes, loss of appetite, and fever.  For more information about this virus, please visit the CDC website for more information.

Thank you for entrusting your beloved pets to our care!
