Ben Wilson, D.V.M.
Practice owner Dr. Ben Wilson joined the Monterey Animal Hospital team in 1999, two years after completing his degree in veterinary medicine at UC Davis. There, he met his wife, Dr. Shannon Thomas, owner of the local Avian and Exotic Clinic located in Ryan Ranch. They reside in Watsonville with their twin sons Thomas and Reed, along with their Golden Retriever Bug, cat Neil, and numerous horses, donkeys, reptiles and birds.
Crystal Chung, D.V.M.
Dr. Crystal Chung studied Biochemistry as an undergraduate at UC Davis and graduated with her degree in veterinary medicine from the same institution in 2006. Born and raised in San Francisco, she now lives in Monterey where she spends many hours playing tennis.
Suzy Hochgesang, D.V.M.
Dr. Suzy Hochgesang studied biology and kinesiology as an undergraduate and completed her DVM at UC Davis in 2004. She is an avid triathlete and currently lives in Marina with her boyfriend as well as dogs Pippi and Wall-E, and cats Itchy and Scratchy. Dr. Suzy writes a semi-monthly column for the Monterey Herald.
